  - Included on-air pre-publicity in the run up to the day, with DJ's encouraging people to register as organ donors
  - The day had pre-recorded slots as well as live interviews with Dr Elmin Steyn, Dr Elmi Muller and 3 recipients, as well as a live cross over to the ODF office.



• 11 March 2007 - Argus Cycle Tour: ODF shared a stand with Barnard Jacobs Mellet at Green Point Stadium.



• August: Organ Donor Month
  - SABC Continuity Presenters promoting organ donor awareness month on SABC 3 during August.
  - 14 - 17 August - Educational theatre: we did 15 shows in Gauteng. Also did one show for Roche who sponsored the project.
  - 18 August - Jacaranda Organ Donor Fun Walk, Groenkloof Campus, University of Pretoria followed by the Tribute Day, Botanical Gardens, Pretoria.
  - 23 August - Donor Tribute day at Fourways Memorial Park, Johannesburg.
  - 26 August - Donor Tribute day at St. George's Cathedral, Cape Town.
  - 28 August - School Debating Competition, Christiaan Barnard Auditorium.
  - 30 August - 2 September - The ODF had an awareness stand at the Homemaker's Expo, CTICC.
  - 31 August - 1 September - Organ Procurement Skills Training Programme (Kwa-Zulu Natal)



• 25 - 2 September - World Transplant Games, Bangkok, Thailand.



• 7 - 10 September - Awareness stand at SATS Congress.



• 21 - 29 September - "Tour de Gird" cycle tour from Klerksdorp to Bloemfontein arranged by classmates of Trevor Gird who was awaiting a heart transplant. This tour was organized to create awareness and hopefully increase Trevor's chances of finding a donor more quickly. They received wonderful media coverage:
  - Ofm radio followed the story each day
  - RSG interviewed them twice
  - The team were welcomed at Bloemfontein Medi-Clinic and interviewed by Die Burger & Volksblad.
  - They visited Mimosa Mall and created awareness at the shopping centre



• 29 September - Nederburg Auction. The ODF received a donation of R128,000 from this event.



• October- Annual Report produced on disk and sponsorship proposals sent to 260 companies & trusts and foundations & to 169 lion's clubs nationally.



• 1 - 4 December - Critical care refresher course in Port Elizabeth. ODF had an awareness stand & Alexia Michaelides gave a talk on the management of the donor.



• 3 December: 40th Anniversary of the 1st heart transplant: The ODF had a stand in the corridor at Groote Schuur Hospital. Groote Schuur arranged the following:
  - Interview on Morning live
  - Photo exhibition: Journey of the Heart
  - An academic meeting for doctors etc.
  - Opening of the renovated transplant museum
